Sibling Fight Leads To Stabbing In East Liberty

Monday, October 6, 2008 – updated: 4:27 pm EDT October 6, 2008

A fight between two brothers lands one in the hospital and the other in police custody.

Police said that two brothers got into a fight over a picture frame at a house on Jennings Court in East Liberty.

The picture frame broke, and one brother used a shard of glass from the frame to stab the other in the leg, police said.

The stabbing apparently severed an artery, and the stabbed brother was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital in grave condition.

The other brother was taken into police custody.
